What a great day!!! :D

I have had a wonderful day today....the kids went out so i was on my own...yayyyyyyyyyyy...i cleaned and tidied the craft room...i can see floor!!! and desktop!!!! 

I emptied some houses and stored them...such a cleansing feeling!!!

I played with minis and worked on the New Shabby Chic Tea Salon which has moved into a much smaller home and is looking cute :)

What a great day!!!!!!!! :D

Yes its nearly here again!!! i'm so disorganised this year however i'm sure it'll be alright on the night as they say :D

My thoughts are turning to 2011 and the things i'd like to achieve....such a long list but if i get a few things crossed off i'll be happy :)

1. the usual losing of weight...prolly not going to happen

2. giving up smoking....another non event i suspect...7 a day for my sanity isnt too bad? is it?

3. saving money...ok ok theres no way that will happen either :P

Now to the more achievable list :)

4. open an ETSY shop...make 2 of what i make now for my own use miniatures and sell one :)

5. consolidate the dollhouses.... :( sad but  neccessary i have so many in a tiny space its getting abit oppressive

6. work on quality not quantity of the houses themselves and the stuff i have in them

7. redecorate my real life house

8. work on edging my last darling left at home out into the big wide world in order to....

9. have a huge nicely decorated craft room 

and last but not least...

10. Be happy and healthy :D 

Ok i feel better now...i've written it down and now can forget all about it :P

Anyone else thinking of 2011 yet?

Steampunk Christmas wreath :)

I'm playing with Christmas decorations today...ooooooo looooook shiney things :D

Made a Steampunk wreath for Sprocketts Steampunk Emporium's door....which i really MUST paint!! this attention span of a gnat is so annoying sometimes hahahaha

too many projects :)

I thought i'd update where i'm at on all the things i'm doing at once...this leads to not much progress on anything even though i'm busy all the time doing something...if that makes sense lol

Beacon Hill Extravaganza.....3 of the 6 shop fronts are coming along..need to make a decision in the door colours and the bottom of the windows

Witches house...... well this is done apart from the constant adding of witchy type things :)

 Shabby Chic house..... still adding bits and pieces but its fun making things...oooooo and the renaisance mice moved in while their half scale house is being built :)

Half scale scratch build....hmmmm this house is frustrating!! i cant seem to get going with it....the inside is giving me trouble i just cant decide on anything...its back on the shelf :P maybe i just dont like 1/24th :)

 anyhoo this is where i'm at on my many projects :D

My witchy house....as if i need any more projects!!!

heres the story in a nutshell...... 

About 2 years ago a friend of mine sent me the parts to a scratch built cottage she'd cut out but lost interest in ....i finished it....it sat in the craft room not talking to me....i was planning gardens for the Beacon Hills and decided it would be a great idea to use parts of the cottage to add interest...i rip it all to bits...hated it in the said gardens (the space is  now where i'm doing the shops  lol ) ....was starting to do a witchy shop...hated that too!!! i decide i need a witch's house instead... and so.....went to bed at midnight...couldnt sleep...got up and spent the next 3 hours sticking the cottage together again with a 2'' extension in the middle....this is normal behaviour right?

Today i have been fixing her up, painting and starting to landscape...my witch is 'nice' so she needs a few flowers maybe a small herb garden....

Anyhoo here is where i'm up to

New stock for Sprocketts Steampunk Emporium :D

Switched projects and started the Beacon shops....as ya do :P

I needed a change so i'm tinkering with the 6 shops which will be under the Beacon Hill's 3 on each side.

1st one is "Sprocketts" a Steampunk Emporium....i had made some Steampunk things a while back and have been making more to stock the shop....not sure about the wallpaper yet so its not stuck down :P...just ideas for now :)

Starting the lounge decor

What fun this house is!!! I've been making some things and rehabbing furniture i have to hand...this is the start of the lounge decor...i'll probably age a few bits but thought i'd share what i've done so far :D

She's ready for her furnishings :)

Here she is...my rehab who in a past life was the WWII house :)

She sat all forlorn... unloved... unseen and empty in my craft room but now she has a new 'coat' and will go in my RL shabby chic dining room :D

I'm leaving the front off this one...a sort of display home for something a bit different.

Now for the fun bit...i'm going to make or redo all her furnishings and accessories from things i already have to hand....well...maybe i might 'have to have' a few new bought pretties :P

Bring on the colour!!! Her look will be old and faded meets shabby chic...how excitement!!!

Tinkering with things for my new project

I have a new project :D yayyyyyyy 

Well actually its one of my old houses i'm rehabbing...but its still a new project right? :D

Anyways i had the urge to make some little bits n bods in readyness

I made the lamp and shade and the picture is of my mam and me when i was little :) the big frame will have a mirror in it...when i can locate the 'bargain have to have' mirrors i bought a while back :P
